I have been vegetarian for over 45 years and now going vegan. I have tried out every brand of protein entree that comes along. Thank goodness there are many to chose from now other than Worthington or MorningStar Farms. We like many of the MSF products, but they are not vegan. I picked up 'No Evil' Italian sausage the other day. We absolutely love it. We rate it far above any other of the now popular plant based meat products.
This is, by far, my favorite versatile sausage. It's so good I'll eat it cold sliced, however we use it in our breakfast bowls and dinner entrees. It's very firm, slightly spicy (I'm a spicy heat wimp) and full of flavor! It is not a traditional "breakfast" flavored sausage. It is not sweet. Not flavored with sage but with fennel. Plus we love this company, what they stand for and their standards.
