The bar soaps manufactured by the Gluten-Free Savonnerie are specially formulated for people with gluten intolerance. These bar soaps are created using the traditional cold-process method where oils are mixed with an alkali and then poured into molds to form bars. This process, called saponification, produces glycerin as a natural byproduct. While most bar soaps remove this glycerin, these bars retain this natural glycerin and provide the unique ability to cleanse thoroughly and gently. Poured and cut by hand, each 4.5-ounce bar is then cured for an entire month to bring out the full beauty of its natural feel and scent. Available in 3 formulas – Classic (normal to oily skin), Castille (mild, for dry or sensitive skin) and Premium (luxurious bar enriched with shea butter, avocado oil, and jojoba oil). Classic and Castille bars are $3.95 each, Premium bars are $4.75 each.
